Czech it out...We´re in Prague!

We failed to mention in our Cinque Terre blog that we met a Canadian angel- Jen, who is molding young minds in Prague. While in Cinque Terre in the town Vernazza, we briefly met this wonderful saint when we were taking pictures on the rocks. Less than 10 minutes later we had already developed a strong bond and had planned a trip to visit her in Prague.

With that said, we would like to define our version of an angel. JEN: met us at the train station, bought our train tickets (due to our lack of Crowns), made us a "Welcome to Prague" book, entrusted us with her only extra set of house keys, lent us an extra cell phone, allowed us to wash our clothes, and was bold enough to introduce us to her posse (who were even so gracious to cook us a Thai feast). This little Canadian gem was our secret weapon to success in Prague.

While not spending time with little J, we tore up the city and our feet (due to our overdose of walking).

Fortunately due to the rainstorm which hit that evening we were forced to stay indoors. We found it appropriate to make a devil's food cake with extra chocolate chips, whipped cream, and strawberries. We topped this night off by playing a Canadian card game: Dutch Blitz (a mix between Speed and Uno). After Jen dominated us in the game we called it a night to give our aching nimble feet an optimal amount of rest.

*We want to give a special shout out to Jen for putting us up for three nights in Praha!! We miss you already!
